www.1800pocketpc.com Did you know that on Windows Phone you can have your apps automatically reinstalled after a hard reset? The key is to use the same Live ID for both the ZDC and your Windows phone. What that means is I will try to install apps through the ZDC from now on so I don’t have to search and install each app with my next Window Phone. ;)

    I’ve notice that the when I hard reset only apps that were installed with the zune client are installed automatically. Apps installed using the marketplace on the device don’t. You do however get a list of apps listed under setting/accounts/purchase history/apps. I hope they fix this in the upcoming zune client.

    @educate9946 yeah only the ones purchased through the Zune ( PC Software on your PC ) unfortunately

    I recently got a new Windows Phone (because my old one fell in a river ;_;) and was surprised about this.

    However, not all my old apps got installed, just a random selection. Really weird.
